Representative Hoitenga moved to adopt the meeting minutes from February 20, 2019. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid before the committee presentation by AARP-Real Possibilities Michigan. Paula D. Cunningham, State Director for AARP Michigan, introduced Melissa Seifert, MPA for AARP Michigan. Ms. Cunningham and Ms. Seibert briefed the members about their organization. Questions followed. Copies of their handouts are attached. Lisa Dedden Cooper, Manager of Advocacy for AARP Michigan, addressed a member’s question. The Chair open a discussion on Senior Centers in Michigan. Copies of her handouts are attached. There being no further business before the committee, Representative Carter moved to adjourn the committee meeting.
