- Representative LaGrand moved to excuse Representative Yancey from the meeting. There being no objection the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid SB 203 before the committee: SB 203 (Sen. MacDonald) A bill to amend 2016 PA 281, entitled"Medical marihuana facilities licensing act,"by amending section 102 (MCL 333.27102), as amended by 2018 PA 648. Senator MacDonald and Frank Waters, representing the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, testified together in support of the bill. At 9:06 AM, the Chair laid the committee at ease. At 9:13 AM, the Chair called the committee back to order. The following people submitted a card in support of SB 203, but did not wish to speak: Kevin McKinney, representing the Michigan Cannabis Industry Association. Matt Miner, representing the Great Lakes Cannabis Chamber of Commerce.
