- Representative Bellino moved to adopt the meeting minutes from May 7, 2019. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. Jenita Moore, and James Fackler, both representing the Michigan Department of State, provided a presentation regarding the Department and reviewed the following topics: Role of the Department; Dashboard; Revenue Collection; Fiscal Year 2018 Disbursements; Michigan Transportation Revenue; A Variety of License Plates; The World of License Plates; Passenger Plates; Commercial Plates; and Revenue collections and Distribution. Questions and discussion followed. Deputy Director Ed Noyola, and Engagement Specialist Dustin Earley, both representing the County Road Association of Michigan, provided a presentation regarding County Road Revenue Streams and reviewed the following topics: Types of County Roads; County Road Agency Revenue Sources; Local Road Revenue Options; Registration Fee Types By State; Creativity With State Funds; Impacts of Increased State Funding; and Cost of Common Road Repairs. Questions and discussion followed.
