- Representative LaGrand moved to excuse Representative Yancey from the meeting. There being no objection the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. Chairman Filler laid before the committee a presentation by the Trial Court Funding Commission. Judge Tom Boyd, Judge Milt Mack, and Michael Bosanac, all representing the Trial Court Funding Commission, gave a presentation to the committee. Questions and discussion followed. The Chair laid HB 4108 before the committee: HB 4108 (Rep. Hauck) A bill to amend 1975 PA 238, entitled "Child protection law," by amending section 3 (MCL 722.623), as amended by 2016 PA 35. The following people submitted a card in support of HB 4108, but did not wish to speak: Tom Hickson, representing the Michigan Catholic Conference.
