- Representative Rendon moved to adopt the meeting minutes from October 16, 2019. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair recognized Representative Wozniak, who shared with the committee members his handout, “Comparison of Home and Community Based Long Term Care Programs.” A brief discussion followed. A copy is attached. Thee Chair laid before the committee the Safe Sleep Presentation given by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. Colleen Nelson, LMSW, Coordinator for the Infant Safe Sleep Program, and Nicholas Drzal, Unit Manager for Infant Health Unit in the Perinatal and Infant Health Section of the Division of Maternal and Infant Heath of the Bureau of Health and Wellness, within the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services gave a PowerPoint presentation on “Infant Safe Sleep”. Questions and discussion followed. Copies of the PowerPoint and handout are attached. There being no further business before the committee,
