- Representative Lilly moved to adopt substitute (H-1) to HB 5229. The motion prevailed 10-0-0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Iden, Lilly, Leutheuser, Griffin, Hauck, Kahle, Wentworth, Warren, Byrd, Hertel. Nays: None. Pass: None. Representative Wentworth offered the following amendments to HB 5229 (H-1): 1. Amend page 2, line 1, by striking out the balance of the line through "each" on line 8 and inserting "the number of mills levied by the joint endeavor is subject to the limitations applicable to and any reductions required under sections 6 and 25 to 31 of article IX of the state constitution of 1963. The number of mills levied by the joint endeavor counts toward the constitutional or statutory tax rate limitation applicable to mills levied by the joint endeavor, but does not count toward the constitutional or statutory tax rate limitation applicable to mills levied by any participant. The number of mills levied by a participant remains subject to any limitation applicable under any". 2. Amend page 2, line 24, by striking out all of subsection (4) and by renumbering the remaining subsections. 3. Amend page 3, line 18, after "subsection" by striking out "(11)," and inserting "(10),". 4. Amend page 4, line 28, after "subsection" by striking out "(11):" and inserting "(10):". 5. Amend page 6, line 11, after "subsection" by striking out "11(d)," and inserting "10(d),".
