At 12:06 PM, the Chair laid the committee at ease. At 12:08 PM, the Chair called the committee back to order. The Chair laid HB 5131 before the committee: HB 5131 (Rep. Witwer) A bill to amend 2008 PA 551, entitled "Uniform securities act (2002)," (MCL 451.2101 to 451.2703) by amending the title, as amended by 2014 PA 355, and by adding article 5A. Substitute (H-2) was previously adopted on February 26th, 2020. The following person submitted a card with a neutral position on HB 5131, but did not wish to speak: Derek Sova, representing the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs.
