Representative Filler moved to adopt the amendments to HB 5837 (H-1). The motion prevailed 13-0-0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Filler, LaFave, Farrington, Howell, Steven Johnson, Rendon, Berman, Wozniak, LaGrand, Guerra, Elder, Yancey, Bolden. Nays: None. Pass: None. Representative Elder offered the following amendment to HB 5837 (H-1): 1. Amend page 35, following line 21, by inserting: "(7) The commission shall promulgate rules pursuant to the administrative procedures act of 1969, 1969 PA 306, MCL 24.201 to 24.328, to ensure compliance with this section, including a tiered system of license sanctions up to license revocation for law enforcement officers licensed under section 9, 9b, 9c, or 9d who refuse to comply with the training requirements under this section. The rules promulgated under this subsection pertaining to revocation of a license must incorporate the requirements and procedures in the same manner as provided in sections 9(13), 9b(13), 9c(12), and 9d(14)." and renumbering the remaining subsection.
