Representative Lilly moved to adopt the meeting minutes from September 9, 2020. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 5777 before the committee: HB 5777 (Rep. Howell) A bill to amend 1994 PA 451, entitled "Natural resources and environmental protection act," by amending sections 2104, 2132, and 2165 (MCL 324.2104, 324.2132, and 324.2165), sections 2104 and 2132 as amended by 2018 PA 238 and section 2165 as added by 2018 PA 240. HB 5777 was previously before the committee on September 9, 2020. Representative Warren offered the following amendment to HB 5777: 1. Amend page 5, line 16, after "before" by striking out the balance of the line through "develop" on line 18 and inserting "acquiring, or making a decision to dispose of, lease, or develop,". Representative Warren spoke to her amendment.
