- Representative Markkanen moved to adopt the meeting minutes from March 2, 2021. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 4343 before the committee: HB 4343 (Rep. Coleman) A bill to amend 1976 PA 451, entitled "The revised school code," (MCL 380.1 to 380.1852) by adding section 1138a. Representative Coleman, testified in support of HB 4343. Questions and discussion followed. The Chair laid HB 4326 before the committee: HB 4326 (Rep. VanWoerkom) A bill to amend 1976 PA 451, entitled "The revised school code," by amending section 1278a (MCL 380.1278a), as amended by 2020 PA 158. Representative VanWoerkom, testified in support of HB 4326. Questions and discussion followed.
