Nays: None. Pass: None. Representative Hornberger testified in support of her legislation. Questions and discussion followed. The following person submitted a card in support of HB 4001, but did not wish to speak: Adam Reames, representing the Michigan Department of State. The Chair laid HB 4319 and HB 4320 before the committee: HB 4319 (Rep. LaFave) A bill to amend 1954 PA 116, entitled "Michigan election law," by amending section 42 (MCL 168.42), as amended by 1999 PA 216. HB 4320 (Rep. Yaroch) A bill to amend 1954 PA 116, entitled "Michigan election law," by amending section 45 (MCL 168.45), as amended by 1985 PA 160.
