Representative Hall moved to adopt the meeting minutes from May 4, 2021. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. At 10:45 AM, the Chair laid the committee at ease. At 10:49 AM, the Chair called the committee back to order. The Chair laid HB 4207 before the committee: HB 4207 (Rep. Roth) A bill to amend 1980 PA 299, entitled "Occupational code," by amending section 1108 (MCL 339.1108), as amended by 2014 PA 136. Representative Roth testified in support of HB 4207. Jeff Jenson, owner of Bulldogs Barber Shop, testified in support of HB 4207. Questions and discussion followed. Rodrick Samuels, representing the Professional Beauty Association, testified in opposition to HB 4207. Questions and discussion followed.
