Neeley) A bill to amend 1931 PA 328, entitled "The Michigan penal code," by amending section 234b (MCL 750.234b), as amended by 2014 PA 191. HB 5028 (Rep. Filler) A bill to amend 1927 PA 175, entitled "The code of criminal procedure," by amending section 16m of chapter XVII (MCL 777.16m), as amended by 2018 PA 637. HB 5029 (Rep. Mueller) A bill to amend 1927 PA 175, entitled "The code of criminal procedure," by amending section 16m of chapter XVII (MCL 777.16m), as amended by 2018 PA 637. HB 5030 (Rep. Young) A bill to amend 1931 PA 328, entitled "The Michigan penal code," (MCL 750.1 to 750.568) by adding section 234g. Representative Neely and Representative Young, testified together in support of HB 5027, HB 5028, HB 5029 and HB 5030. Questions and discussion followed. DJ Hilson, representing the Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan, testified in support of HB 5027, HB 5028, HB 5029 and HB 5030. Questions and discussion followed. Sheriff Chris Swanson, representing Genesee County, and Mayor Sheldon Neely, representing the City of Flint, testified together in support of HB 5027, HB 5028, HB 5029 and HB 5030.
