Representative Cavitt moved to adopt the amendments to HB 4286. The motion did not prevail 12-17-0: UNFAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Lightner, Bollin, Green, Slagh, Beson, Borton, Fink, Cavitt, DeBoer, Kuhn, Schuette, Steele. Nays: Reps. Witwer, O'Neal, Brixie, Hood, Brabec, Morse, Puri, Steckloff, Weiss, Martus, McKinney, Mentzer, Morgan, Price, Skaggs, Snyder, Wilson. Pass: None. Representative Lightner offered the following amendments to HB 4286: 1. Amend page 60, line 16, after "subsection" by striking out "(1), or, for a public school academy that was issued a contract under section 552 of the revised school code, MCL 380.552, to operate as a school of excellence that is a cyber school, $9,150.00." and inserting a period, and adjusting the totals in section 11 and enacting section 1 accordingly. 2. Amend page 86, line 16, by striking out "$6,192,100,000.00" and inserting "$6,184,000,000.00" and adjusting the totals in section 11 and enacting 1 accordingly.
