- Representative Kunse moved to adopt the meeting minutes from October 12, 2023. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 4932 and HB 4962 before the committee: HB 4932 (Rep. Skaggs) A bill to amend 1978 PA 90, entitled "Youth employment standards act," by amending sections 2, 3, 20, 21, and 22 (MCL 409.102, 409.103, 409.120, 409.121, and 409.122), section 2 as amended by 1996 PA 438, section 3 as amended by 1997 PA 132, and section 22 as amended by 1980 PA 436. HB 4962 (Rep. Scott) A bill to amend 1927 PA 175, entitled "The code of criminal procedure," by amending section 14b of chapter XVII (MCL 777.14b), as added by 2002 PA 29. A substitute (H-1) was adopted for HB 4932 at the October 12th, 2023 meeting. The following person submitted a card in support of HB 4932 and HB 4962, but did not wish to speak: Allen D. Lee, representing the Restaurant Opportunities Centers Michigan. Representative Kunse introduced and explained his package of amendments to HB 4932 (H- 1). Questions and discussion followed. Representative Kunse offered the following amendment to HB 4932 (H-1): 1. Amend page 5, line 4, by striking out all of subdivision (c).
