The Chair laid SB 378 before the committee: SB 378 (Sen. Singh) A bill to amend 1956 PA 218, entitled "The insurance code of 1956," by amending section 1204c (MCL 500.1204c), as amended by 2017 PA 67. Senator Singh and Chuck May, representing the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors-Michigan, testified in support of SB 378. Questions and discussion followed. The following person submitted a card with a neutral position on SB 378, but did not wish to speak: Joseph Sullivan, representing the Michigan Department of Insurance and Financial Services.
