- Representative Breen moved to adopt the amendment to HB 4202. The motion did not prevail 6-9-0: UNFAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Hoskins, Tyrone Carter, Neeley, Breen, Young and Paiz. Nays: Reps. Tisdel, Frisbie, VanderWall, Lightner, Martin, Posthumus, Alexander, Aragona and Schuette. Pass: None. The Chair laid HB 4375 and HB 4376 before the committee: HB 4375 (Rep. Frisbie) A bill to amend 1937 PA 94, entitled "Use tax act," by amending section 2 (MCL 205.92), as amended by 2023 PA 94. HB 4376 (Rep. Snyder) A bill to amend 1933 PA 167, entitled "General sales tax act," by amending section 1 (MCL 205.51), as amended by 2023 PA 20. Representative Frisbie and Representative Snyder testified in support of HB 4375, and HB 4376. Questions and discussions followed. Olivia Spears, representing Asurion, testified in support of HB 4375, and HB 4376.
