- Representative VanderWall moved to adopt the meeting minutes from May 22, 2025. There being no objection, the motion prevailed with unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 4515 before the committee: HB 4515 (Rep. Woolford) A bill to amend 1939 PA 280, entitled "The social welfare act," (MCL 400.1 to 400.119b) by adding section 14k. Representative Woolford testified in support of HB 4515. Questions and discussions followed. The following person submitted a card with a neutral position on HB 4515, but did not wish to speak: Christine Suave, representing the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center.
