- Representative Steckloff moved to adopt the amendment to HB 5619. The motion did not prevail 12-4-12: UNFAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Tate, O'Neal, Rogers, Steckloff, Glanville, Edwards, Farhat, Martus, McKinney, Morgan, Snyder and Longjohn. Nays: Reps. Phil Green, Kelly, Kuhn and Steele. Pass: Reps. Bollin, Maddock, Jenkins-Arno, Markkanen, Mueller, Slagh, VanWoerkom, Beson, Borton, Roth, Cavitt and Robinson. Representative McKinney offered the following amendments to HB 5619: 1. Amend page 8, following line 11, by inserting: To defray fertilizer cost increases 50,000,000 and adjusting the subtotals, totals, and section 201 accordingly 2. Amend page 38, following line 1, by inserting: "Sec. 1001. The part 1 appropriation To defray fertilizer cost increases must be used for a grant program to assist agricultural producers in this state in financing additional costs of fertilizer inputs as a result of the war with Iran.".
