The agenda summary is as follows: 1. A hearing to consider the appointment of Mr. Lee Gonzales to the Michigan Liquor Control Commission. 2. A hearing to consider the appointment of Mr. Edward Toma to the Michigan Liquor Control Commission. The Chair called the meeting to order at 10:33 a.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Nesbitt, Sen.(s) Theis, McBroom and Hertel, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. McBroom to adopt the meeting minutes from October 1, 2020. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding the appointment of Mr. Lee Gonzales to the Michigan Liquor Control Commission: Lee Gonzales – Support The Chair read the cards of those individuals who did not wish to testify regarding the appointment of Mr. Lee Gonzales to the Michigan Liquor Control Commission: John McNamara, Michigan Restaurant ant and Lodging Association – Support Brett Visner, Michigan Beer and Wine Wholesalers Association – Support Brendan Ringlever, Michigan Spirits Association – Support The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding the appointment of Mr. Edward Toma to the Michigan Liquor Control Commission: Edward Toma – Support Page 1 of 2 The Chair read the cards of those individuals who did not wish to testify regarding the appointment of Mr. Edward Toma to the Michigan Liquor Control Commission: John McNamara, Michigan Restaurant ant and Lodging Association – Support Brett Visner, Michigan Beer and Wine Wholesalers Association – Support Brendan Ringlever, Michigan Spirits Association – Support There being no further business before the committee, the Chair moved to adjourn the committee.
