BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-7946 FAX: (517) 373-2678 COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES November 16, 2021 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Senate Fiscal Agency Governing Board was scheduled for Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., in the Harry T. Gast Appropriations Room. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Approved the minutes from the September 15, 2021 meeting. 2. Approved the appointment of Kathryn Summers as Director of the Senate Fiscal Agency. 3. Discussed the appointment by Kathryn Summers of Steve Angelotti as Deputy Director of the Senate Fiscal Agency. 4. Adjourned. The Chair called the meeting to order at 10:01 a.m.. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Stamas, Sen.(s) Ananich and Hertel, a quorum was present. The Chair made a motion, supported by Sen. Ananich, to excuse absent members from the meeting. Without objection, Sen.(s) Shirkey and Bumstead were excused from the meeting. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Ananich, supported by Sen. Hertel, to adopt the previous meeting's minutes. Without objection, the minutes from the September 15, 2021 meeting were adopted. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Stamas to appoint Kathryn Summers as the Director of the Senate Fiscal Agency, supported by Sen. Ananich. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Stamas, Sen.(s) Ananich, and Hertel. Nays: None The motion prevailed and the appointment was confirmed. The Chair asked if there was further discussion. Kathryn Summers indicated her intention to appoint Steve Angelotti as the Deputy Director of the Senate Fiscal Agency. There being no further business before the committee, the Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Hertel, supported by Sen. Stamas, to adjourn the committee at 10:04 a.m. Without objection, the committee was adjourned. Page 1 of 1
