The Chair requested attendance to be called: Present: Reps. Aragona, Fairbairn, Wozniak, Wendzel, Tisdel, Hoadley, Neyer, Rigas, Thompson, Liberati, Tyrone Carter, Witwer, Dievendorf and Grant. Absent: Reps. Linting, Whitsett and Neeley. Excused: Reps. Linting, Whitsett and Neeley. Representative Thompson moved to adopt the meeting minutes from May 01, 2025. There being no objection, the motion prevailed with unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 4113 and HB 4114 before the committee: Representative Kuhn testified in support of HB 4113 and HB 4114. Steckloff) A bill to amend 1998 PA 58, entitled "Michigan liquor control code of 1998," by amending section 233 (MCL 436.1233), as amended by 2022 PA 135. HB 4114 (Rep. Kuhn) A bill to amend 1998 PA 58, entitled "Michigan liquor control code of 1998," (MCL 436.1101 to 436.2303) by adding section 910. The following people submitted a card in support of HB 4113 and HB 4114, but did not wish to speak: Jerry Griffin, representing the Midwest Independent Retailers Association. Representative Neyer moved to adopt substitute (H-1) to HB 4114. The motion prevailed 12-0-2: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Aragona, Fairbairn, Wozniak, Wendzel, Tisdel, Hoadley, Neyer, Rigas, Thompson, Liberati, Tyrone Carter and Witwer. Nays: None. Pass: Reps. Dievendorf and Grant. Representative Rigas moved to report out HB 4114 with recommendation, as substitute (H-1). The motion prevailed 11-0-3: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Witwer) A bill to amend 1980 PA 299, entitled "Occupational code," by amending sections 1117 and 1217 (MCL 339.1117 and 339.1217), section 1117 as amended by 2003 Representative Rigas and Representative Witwer testified in support of HB 4394 and HB 4395.
