The Chair requested attendance to be called: Present: Reps. Schuette, Aragona, Wendzel, Martin, Posthumus, DeBoer, Witwer and Liberati. Absent: Rep. Herzberg. Excused: Rep. Herzberg. Representative DeBoer moved to adopt the meeting minutes from May 01, 2025. There being no objection, the motion prevailed with unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 4103 before the committee: The following person submitted a card in support of HB 4101, but did not wish to speak: Jarett Skorup, representing the Mackinac Center for Public Policy. Representative Aragona moved to report out HB 4103 with recommendation. The motion prevailed 8-0-0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. Schuette, Aragona, Wendzel, Martin, Posthumus, DeBoer, Witwer and Liberati. Nays: None. Pass: None. The Chair laid HB 4309 before the committee: Thursday, May 8, 2025 10:30 AM Room 519, House Office Building HB 4103 (Rep. Rogers) A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled "Public health code," (MCL 333.1101 to 333.25211) by adding section 16188. HB 4309 (Rep. Prestin) A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled "Public health code," by amending section 18001 (MCL 333.18001), as amended by 2018 PA The following person submitted a card in support of HB 4103, but did not wish to speak: Jarett Skorup, representing the Mackinac Center for Public Policy. Representative Posthumus moved to adopt substitute (H-1) to HB 4309. The motion prevailed 8- 0-0: FAVORABLE ROLL CALL Yeas: Reps. There being no objection the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. There being no further business before the committee, Chair Schuette adjourned the meeting at 10:45 AM.
