GRAHAM FILLER CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Tuesday, May 25, 2021 9:00 AM Room 519, House Office Building The House Committee on Judiciary was called to order by Chair Filler. The Chair requested attendance be called: Present: Reps. Filler, Mueller, Steven Johnson, Kahle, Rendon, Berman, Wozniak, Clements, LaGrand, Yancey, Bolden, Hope, Breen. Absent: None. Excused: None. Representative Mueller moved to adopt the meeting minutes from May 18, 2021. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 4701 before the committee: HB 4701 (Rep. Howell) A bill to amend 1949 PA 300, entitled "Michigan vehicle code," by amending sections 319b, 625a, 625c, and 625g (MCL 257.319b, 257.625a, 257.625c, and 257.625g), section 319b as amended by 2015 PA 11, sections 625a and 625g as amended by 2017 PA 153, and section 625c as amended by 2014 PA 315, and by adding section 36d. Representative Howell, testified in support of HB 4701. Questions and discussion followed. Bridget Lorenz Lemberg, representing the Forensic Fluids Laboratories, testified in support of HB 4701.
