Gast Senate Appropriations Room of the Capitol Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Reported HB 4244 (Rep. Green) with recommendation and immediate effect. 2. Reported HB 4286 (Rep. Johnson) with recommendation and immediate effect. The Chairman called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present; Chairman Stamas, Sen.(s) Bumstead, Barrett, Bizon, LaSata, MacDonald, Nesbitt, Runestad, Schmidt, Outman, Victory, Hertel, Irwin, Santana, McCann, and Bayer, a quorum was present. The Chairman made a motion, supported by Sen. Barrett, to excuse absent members from the committee meeting. Without objection, Sen. MacGregor was excused. The Chairman entertained a motion by Sen. Runestad, supported by Sen. McCann, to adopt the committee meeting minutes from March 20, 2019. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. Next, the Chairman called a brief recess. At 2:03 p.m., Sen. Hollier entered the meeting. The Chairman entertained a motion from Sen. Bumstead, supported by Sen. Hertel, to report HB 4244 to the floor with recommendation that it pass. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chairman Stamas, Sen.(s) Bumstead, Barrett, Bizon, LaSata, MacDonald, Nesbitt, Outman, Runestad, Schmidt, Victory, Hertel, Hollier, Irwin, Santana, McCann and Bayer Nays: None The bill was reported to the floor. The Chairman entertained a motion from Sen. Victory, supported by Sen. Outman, to recommend immediate effect for HB 4244. Without objection, immediate effect was recommended. The Chairman entertained a motion from Sen. Barrett, supported by Sen. Irwin, to report HB 4286 to the floor with recommendation that it pass. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chairman Stamas, Sen.(s) Bumstead, Barrett, Bizon, LaSata, MacDonald, Nesbitt, Outman, Runestad, Schmidt, Victory, Hertel, Hollier, Irwin, Santana, McCann and Bayer Nays: None The bill was reported to the floor. The Chairman entertained a motion from Sen. Runestad, supported by Sen. Bizon, to recommend immediate effect for HB 4286. Without objection, immediate effect was recommended. There being no further business before the committee, the Chairman entertained a motion by Sen. Nesbitt, supported by Sen.
