BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-1758 FAX: (517) 373-0938 COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES September 4, 2019 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Finance was scheduled for Wednesday, September 4, 2019, at 12:30 p.m., in the 1200 Room of the Binsfeld Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Reported HB 4189 (Rep. Sheppard) with recommendation and immediate effect. 2. Testimony regarding HB 4190 (Rep. Webber). 3. Testimony regarding HB 4191 (Rep. Coleman). The Chairman called the meeting to order at 12:30 p.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chairman Runestad, Sen.(s) Nesbitt, Daley, Bumstead, VanderWall, Chang and Alexander, a quorum was present. The Chairman entertained a motion by Sen. Nesbitt to adopt the meeting minutes from June 19, 2019. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chairman invited Rachel Richards and Stewart Binke of the Michigan Department of Treasury to summarize HB's 4189 – HB 4191 and the (S-2) version of HB 4190. The Chairman invited the following individual to present testimony regarding HB’s 4189 – HB 4191: David Greco, Michigan Economic Development Corporation – No position The following cards were read of those individuals not wishing to present testimony regarding HB’s 4189 -HB 4191: Dave Worthams, Michigan Bankers Association, Neutral Dave Ladd, Tenneco / Federal Mogul – Support Dan Papineau, Michigan Chamber of Commerce – Support Delaney McKinley, Michigan Manufactures Association – Support The Chairman moved to adjourn the meeting.
