Gast Appropriations Room of the Capitol Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Testimony regarding SB 275 (Sen. Runestad). 2. Testimony regarding SB 276 (Sen. Runestad). 3. Testimony regarding SB 288 (Sen. Bumstead). 4. Testimony regarding SB 296 (Sen. McBroom). 5. Testimony regarding SB 297 (Sen. McBroom). 6. Testimony regarding SB 298 (Sen. McBroom). 7. Testimony regarding SB 299 (Sen. Zorn). The Chair called the meeting to order at 2:03 p.m.. She instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Johnson, Sen.(s) McBroom, VanderWall, and Wojno, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. VanderWall to adopt the meeting minutes from May 12, 2021. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited Sen. Runestad to summarize SB 275 and SB 276. The Chair invited Sen. Bumstead to summarize SB 288. The Chair invited Sen. McBroom to summarize SB 296 through SB 299. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding SB 275 and SB 276: Mary Clark, Michigan Association of Municipal Clerks – Oppose The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding SB 288, SB 296 and SB 297: Mary Clark, Michigan Association of Municipal Clerks – Neutral The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding SB 298 and SB 299: Mary Clark, Michigan Association of Municipal Clerks – Support Page 1 of 3 At 2:53 p.m., the Chair left the committee.
