Gast Appropriations Room. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. 2. The Chair called the meeting to order. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Anthony, Sen.(s) McCann, McDonald Rivet, Cherry, Bayer, Santana, Shink, Irwin, Hertel, Camilleri, Klinefelt, McMorrow, Cavanagh, Bumstead, Albert, Damoose, Huizenga and Outman, a quorum was present. At <<TIMESTAMP>>, Sen. Nobody entered the meeting. A quorum was now present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. McCann, supported by Sen. Klinefelt, to report SB 1047 to the floor with recommendation that it pass. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Anthony, Sen.(s) McCann, McDonald Rivet, Cherry, Bayer, Santana, Shink, Irwin, Hertel, Camilleri, Klinefelt, McMorrow, and Cavanagh. Nays: Sen.(s) Bumstead, Albert, Damoose, Huizenga, and Outman. The motion prevailed and the bill was reported. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. McCann, supported by Sen. Klinefelt, to recommend immediate effect for SB 1047. Without objection, immediate effect was recommended. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Klinefelt, supported by Sen. Bayer, to report SB 1165 to the floor with recommendation that it pass. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Anthony, Sen.(s) McCann, McDonald Rivet, Cherry, Bayer, Santana, Shink, Irwin, Hertel, Camilleri, Klinefelt, McMorrow, and Cavanagh. Nays: Sen.(s) Bumstead, Albert, Damoose, Huizenga, and Outman. The motion prevailed and the bill was reported. Page 1 of 2 The Chair made a motion to recommend immediate effect for SB 1165. Without objection, immediate effect was recommended. The Chair made a motion to recommend immediate effect for SB 1047. Without objection, immediate effect was recommended. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding City of Lansing/Lansing School District – Support Michigan Downtown Association – Opposition Michigan Beer & Wine Assn. – Support Michigan Teamsters – Support There being no further business before the committee, the Chair made a motion, supported by Sen.
