The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Presentation regarding the State of Childcare in Michigan. The Chair called the meeting to order at 2:02 p.m. and announced that a quorum was not present. The Chair invited Sen. McDonald Rivet to give a presentation regarding the state of childcare in Michigan. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding the state of childcare in Michigan: Taunya Sims, Early Childhood Education Expert Lou Glazer, Michigan Future, Inc. Angela Rincones, The Source Leah Robinson, Michigan Chamber Kelli Saunders, Small Business Association Alicia Guevara Warren, Early Childhood Investment Corporation Renell Weathers and Barbara Young, Detroit Parent Network There being no further business before the committee, the Chair moved to adjourn the committee.
