- **DRAFT** COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES March 23, 2021 A meeting of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Community Health/Human Services was scheduled for Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at 8:00 a.m., in the Senate Hearing Room, Ground Floor, Boji Tower. The Chair called the meeting to order at 8:01 a.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Outman, Sen.(s) Daley, LaSata, MacDonald, Schmidt, Irwin, and Brinks, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. LaSata, supported by Sen. Schmidt, to adopt the meeting minutes from March 16, 2021. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding Kate Massey, Senior Deputy Director for Medical Services Administration, Department of Health and Human Services – Support Dominick Pallone, Executive Director of the Michigan Association of Health Plans – Support Mike Dow, Executive Director for the Michigan Behavior Analysis Providers Association – Support Colleen Allen, President and CEO of the Autism Alliance of Michigan – Support At 8:03 a.m., Sen. Jeff Irwin left the meeting. At 8:06 a.m., Sen. Sylvia Santana entered the meeting. At 8:06 a.m., Sen. Adam Hollier entered the meeting. At 8:20 a.m., Sen. John Bizon entered the meeting. At 8:53 a.m., Sen. John Bizon left the meeting. At 8:53 a.m., Sen. Kimberly LaSata left the meeting. At 8:54 a.m., Sen. Wayne Schmidt left the meeting. There being no further business before the committee, the Chair made a motion, supported by Sen. Daley, to adjourn the committee at 9:51 a.m.Without objection, the committee was adjourned.
