- **DRAFT** COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES February 16, 2023 A meeting of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Corrections and Judiciary was scheduled for Thursday, February 16, 2023, at 1:30 p.m., in the 1300 Room of the Binsfeld Office Building. The Chair called the meeting to order at 2:59 p.m.. She instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Shink, Sen.(s) Santana, Irwin and Outman, a quorum was present. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding the FY 2023-24 budget recommendation: Chief Justice Clement, Michigan Supreme Court – No Position The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding the FY 2023-24 budget recommendation: Jonathan Sacks and Brad Hall, SADO & MAACS – No Position The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding prisoner advocacy: Dennis Nordmoe, St. Peter & Paul Jesuit Church Detroit – No Position There being no further business before the committee, the Chair made a motion, supported by Sen.
