- Tsernoglou on Trump Campaign’s Lawsuit Against Whitmer, Benson: LANSING, Mich., July 15, 2024 — Donald Trump’s presidential campaign and the Republican National Committee filed suit in federal court today against Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson for designating Veterans Affairs locations and Small Business Administration offices as voter registration sites. In response, House Elections Committee Chair state Rep.
