    A bill to make appropriations for the department of talent and economic development for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2020; and to provide for the expenditure of the appropriations. The question being on the passage of the bill, Senator Santana offered the following amendments: 1. Amend page 3, following line 12, by inserting: “Small business support grants.............................. 100”. 2. Amend page 3, line 27, by striking out “112,815,700” and inserting “112,815,800” and adjusting the subtotals, totals, and section 201 accordingly. 3. Amend page 27, following line 26, by inserting: “Sec. 448. From the funds appropriated in part 1 for small business support grants, there is allocated $100.00 for the small business support grant program. Funds allocated under this section are intended to provide small businesses with grants to offset the cost of disruptions to business activity caused by road construction projects.”. The amendments were not adopted, a majority of the members serving not voting therefor. Senator Chang requested the yeas and nays.
