   Senate Bill No. 542 The motion prevailed. The following bill was read a third time: Senate Bill No. 109, entitled A bill to amend 1976 PA 390, entitled “Emergency management act,” by amending the title and sections 18 and 19 (MCL 30.418 and 30.419), the title as amended by 2006 PA 267, section 18 as amended by 2018 PA 263, and section 19 as amended by 2018 PA 264, and by adding sections 18a and 18b. The question being on the passage of the bill, Senator Theis offered the following amendment: 1. Amend page 4, line 16, by striking out all of subsection (7) and inserting: “ (7) The legislature shall establish procedures governing grant applications, award determinations, eligible expenditures, and program administration that are related to the hazard mitigation fund. ”. The amendment was not adopted, a majority of the members serving not voting therefor.
