- So for that reason, I oppose these bills, because they continue what I believe is a flagrant farce on the
democratic process in this state. Our Constitution does not provide for there to be a random sampling, this is
something that’s come along later, and we should not enact any laws that continue to allow this farce to
persist. I ask for a “no” vote.
