    rights. Access to a competent attorney is a fundamental right of all Americans. This bill ensures that this fundamental right is accessible to Michigan’s children. I believe that passing this bill is one of the most important things we can do for our children in Michigan. The following bill was read a third time: Senate Bill No. 408, entitled A bill to amend 1961 PA 236, entitled “Revised judicature act of 1961,” by amending sections 4011, 4012, 4015, 4031, 4061a, 6023, 6027, 6059, and 6104 (MCL 600.4011, 600.4012, 600.4015, 600.4031, 600.4061a, 600.6023, 600.6027, 600.6059, and 600.6104), section 4011 as amended and section 4061a as added by 1994 PA 346, section 4012 as amended by 2015 PA 14, and section 6023 as amended by 2012 PA 553, and by adding sections 4001a, 4032, 4033, 6001a, 6023b, 6023c, 6023d, 6023e, 6023f, and 6023g.
