   chamber that the majority is not serious about improving health outcomes for all mothers and newborn children in our state. We can’t simply turn a blind eye on issues as important as the one I brought up: the idea that certain communities have drastically different outcomes when it comes to having abortions as a result of a pregnancy. Passing yet another government report that only addresses part of the issue is a disserve to expectant mothers across Michigan. I ask for a “no” vote on these bills. The following bill was read a third time: Senate Bill No. 820, entitled A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled “Public health code,” by amending sections 20201 and 21513 (MCL 333.20201 and 333.21513), section 20201 as amended by 2016 PA 499 and section 21513 as amended by 2022 PA 265, and by adding section 21537.
