    The following bill was read a third time: Senate Bill No. 378, entitled A bill to amend 1967 PA 281, entitled “Income tax act of 1967,” (MCL 206.1 to 206.713) by adding section 254. The question being on the passage of the bill, Senator Ananich offered the following amendments: 1. Amend page 1, line 2, after “ 2022 ” by striking out “ through December 31, 2025 ”. 2. Amend page 1, line 3, after “ to ” by striking out “ $500.00 ” and inserting “ $2,500.00 ”. 3. Amend page 2, following line 2, by inserting: “Enacting section 1. This amendatory act does not take effect unless Senate Bill No. 169 of the 101st Legislature is enacted into law.”. Senator Chang requested the yeas and nays. The yeas and nays were ordered, 1/5 of the members present voting therefor. The amendments were not adopted, a majority of the members serving not voting therefor, as follows:
