The following bill was read a third time: Senate Bill No. 392, entitled A bill to amend 1967 PA 281, entitled “Income tax act of 1967,” by amending section 623 (MCL 206.623), as amended by 2021 PA 135. The question being on the passage of the bill, Senator Irwin offered the following amendment: 1. Amend page 4, following line 20, by inserting: “Enacting section 1. This act does not take effect unless Senate Bill No. 417 of the 101st Legislature is enacted into law.”. Senator Chang requested the yeas and nays.
