House Bill No. 4968, entitled
A bill to amend 2018 PA 175, entitled “Insurance provider assessment act,” by amending sections 7, 11,
and 17 (MCL 550.1757, 550.1761, and 550.1767).
The question being on the passage of the bill,
Senator Lindsey offered the following amendment:
1. Amend page 3, line 19, after “year.” by striking out the balance of the subsection and inserting “If a
tax structure is approved as described in this subsection, the tax structure does not apply 1 year after
the tax structure is approved.”.
The amendment was not adopted, a majority of the members serving not voting therefor.
