- Representative Hall moved to adopt the meeting minutes from April 30, 2019. There being no objection, the motion prevailed by unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 4335 before the committee: HB 4335 (Rep. Yaroch) A bill to amend 1980 PA 299, entitled “Occupational code,” by amending sections 1110 and 1205 (MCL 339.1110 and 339.1205), section 1110 as amended by 2014 PA 137 and section 1205 as amended by 1997 PA 97. Representative Yaroch, along with Scott Weaver and Sam Boumis, representing the Douglas J Aveda Institute, testified in support of the bill. Questions and discussion followed. The Chair laid HB 4411 before the committee: HB 4411 (Rep. Lilly) A bill to amend 1994 PA 160, entitled “Credit services protection act,” by amending section 3 (MCL 445.1823). Representative Lilly, as well as Eric Kamerath, representing both Lexington and Progrexion Forward, testified in support of the bill. Questions and discussion followed.
