- Representative Mentzer moved to adopt the meeting minutes from August 26, 2025. There being no objection, the motion prevailed with unanimous consent. The Chair laid before the committee a Presentation from Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Director Elizabeth Hertel. Elizabeth Hertel, Director of the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, gave a presentation. Questions and discussion followed. The following people submitted a card wishing to speak, but due to the time constraints were unable to speak: Amie Carter. Jim Casha, representing Kids and Adults with FASD. Rachel Cuschieri-Murray.
