Not Voting—0 In The Chair: Nesbitt The question being on concurring in the committee recommendation to give the bill immediate effect, The recommendation was not concurred in, 2/3 of the members serving not voting therefor. Pursuant to Joint Rule 20, the full title of the act shall be inserted to read as follows: “An act to revise, consolidate, and classify the laws of this state regarding the regulation of certain occupations in the skilled trades and to regulate persons and activities relative to those occupations; to create a board for each of those occupations; to establish the powers and duties of certain state and local governmental officers and entities, including the boards created under this act; to provide for the promulgation of rules; to provide for fees; to provide for penalties and civil fines; and to repeal acts and parts of acts,” The Senate agreed to the full title. The following bill was read a third time: Senate Bill No. 1035, entitled A bill to amend 1969 PA 242, entitled “An act to provide for the registration of trademarks and service marks; to prescribe the powers and duties of certain state officers and agencies; to prescribe remedies; and to repeal certain acts and parts of acts,” by amending section 1 (MCL 429.31), as amended by 1984 PA 203.
