- The motion prevailed, the time being 10:09 a.m. 10:37 a.m. The Senate was called to order by the President, Lieutenant Governor Gilchrist. During the recess, Senator Santana entered the Senate Chamber. The question being on the passage of the bill, Senator Irwin offered the following amendments: 1. Amend page 8, line 4, after “ provider ” by inserting “ that relate to the treatment, diagnosis, prevention, or mitigation of COVID-19 or the assessment or care of an individual with a confirmed case or a suspected case of COVID-19, ”. 2. Amend page 8, line 5, after “ of ” by striking out “ health care ” and inserting “ those ”. The question being on the adoption of the amendments, Senator Chang requested the yeas and nays. The yeas and nays were ordered, 1/5 of the members present voting therefor. The amendments were not adopted, a majority of the members serving not voting therefor, as follows:
