Amend page 4, line 19, after “services.” by inserting “ The immunity granted under this subsection does not apply to conduct with an intent to harm or discriminate based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or gender identity by a health care facility or a health care provider providing health care services. A health care facility or a health care provider shall not deny health care services to any individual based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or gender identity. ”. The question being on the adoption of the amendment, Senator Chang requested the yeas and nays. The yeas and nays were ordered, 1/5 of the members present voting therefor.
