- Not Voting—0 In The Chair: President Senator Lauwers moved that the bill be given immediate effect. The motion prevailed, 2/3 of the members serving voting therefor. Pursuant to Joint Rule 20, the full title of the act shall be inserted to read as follows: “An act to authorize and provide the terms and conditions under which information and signatures can be transmitted, received, and stored by electronic means,”. The Senate agreed to the full title. The following bill was read a third time: House Bill No. 6296, entitled A bill to amend 2010 PA 123, entitled “Uniform real property electronic recording act,” by amending sections 3 and 4 (MCL 565.843 and 565.844), section 4 as amended by 2018 PA 364, and by adding section 5a.
