Posthumus moved to amend the title to read as follows: A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled “Public health code” by amending sections 16801 and 17601 (MCL 333.16801 and 333.17601), section 16801 as added by 2004 PA 97 and section 17601 as amended by 2016 PA 238, and by adding sections 16187c, 16804, and 17603a. The motion prevailed. The House agreed to the title as amended. Rep. Posthumus moved that the bill be given immediate effect. The motion prevailed, 2/3 of the members serving voting therefor. House Bill No. 4124, entitled A bill to amend 1967 PA 281, entitled “Income tax act of 1967,” (MCL 206.1 to 206.847) by adding sections 677a and 717a.
