- House Bill No. 5032, entitled A bill to amend 1976 PA 451, entitled “The revised school code,” by amending section 1361 (MCL 380.1361), as amended by 2003 PA 299. The bill was read a third time. The question being on the passage of the bill, Rep. Bollin moved to amend the bill as follows: 1. Amend page 2, line 12, after “ (4) ” by striking out “ A ” and inserting “ Except as otherwise provided under subsection (5), a ”. 2. Amend page 2, line 14, after “ section. ” by striking out “ All ” and inserting “ Except as otherwise provided under subsection (5), all ”. 3. Amend page 2, following line 16, by inserting: “(5) A school district may use funds received under the state school aid act of 1979 for any administrative costs to conduct a general November election as that term is defined in section 2 of the Michigan election law, 1954 PA 116, MCL 168.2. ”. The motion was seconded and the amendments were adopted, a majority of the members serving voting therefor.
