Farhat In The Chair: Smit The House agreed to the title of the bill. Rep. Posthumus moved that the bill be given immediate effect. The motion prevailed, 2/3 of the members serving voting therefor. Rep. Steckloff, under Rule 30, made the following statement: “Mr. Speaker and members of the House: I did not vote on Roll Call No. 102 because of a possible conflict of interest.” House Bill No. 5652, entitled A bill to amend 1961 PA 236, entitled “Revised judicature act of 1961,” (MCL 600.101 to 600.9947) by adding section 2940a.
