House Bill No. 5577, entitled A bill to amend 1964 PA 9, entitled “An act to describe, define, and officially adopt certain systems of coordinates for designating the position of points on or near the surface of the earth within this state,” by amending sections 1, 1a, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, and 9 (MCL 54.231, 54.231a, 54.233, 54.234, 54.236, 54.237, 54.238, and 54.239), sections 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, and 9 as amended and section 1a as added by 1988 PA 154; and to repeal acts and parts of acts. The bill was read a second time. Rep. Roth moved that the bill be placed on the order of Third Reading of Bills. The motion prevailed. By unanimous consent the House returned to the order of Third Reading of Bills Rep. Posthumus moved that Senate Bill No. 274 be placed on its immediate passage.
